I created custom ADS1298 daughter card to connect and test with MMB0 DSP board . But i could not get any data with ADS1298EcG-FE software . I hope the EEPROM needed to be programmed to say what the board it is correct ? If yes can you share the EEPROM content for adS1298 ecg FE daughter card . Thanks .

    Thank you for your post.

    The EEPROM is flashed during assembly with relevant board manufacturing info (i.e. revision, data/time, etc.). I don't believe we have a way to artificially program a blank EEPROM on your board such that it works with our existing EVM software. In general, our team does not support any modifications to our software or interfacing other hardware with exisiting GUIs.

    Hi thanks . my question is that the MMB0 board will take data from ECG board without the EEPROM connected or i am not sure my connection is got other issue . Please advice .

    Hi pragdhees,

    The MMB0 that launches the software that runs on the ADS1298ECGFE-PDK has nothing special loaded on it as Ryan mentioned already.  We have a number of boards that run on the MMB0 platform, so each board has an EEPROM that is read at boot-up of the boards and verifys which EVM is installed on the MMB0.  If you try to run the wrong code on the board, you should see some sort of error message. 

    If you try to run your own custom board with our controller and software, you would also get some sort of error message and it will not work.
