Hello!

I am wondering if anyone can send me a code example for reading the ADS1278 using the SPI protocol. I have attached the ADS1278 to a Raspberry PI (Compute module 3). I am using C/C++ to communicate with the converter. My goal is to analyze vibration sensor data, so high frequency sampling (52kHz) is necessary.

Hi,

The team that originally developed the commercial version of the ADS1278 has informed me that the GUI installer provided on the WEB now includes sources code. To my knowledge, there are no other examples available and this code itself is not supported.

Christian, thanks for getting back to me with this. Unfortunately I could not find any source code after having installed the evaluation software. Maybe I clicked the wrong link? I used this one: http://www.ti.com/tool/adcpro which I found under the Software tab on the ADS1278 product page.

Before posting I searched the forums and it seems that some people with similar questions as me have gotten source code sent to them, e.g. this guy:
