I am testing a newly bought DAC81416 evm using the TI GUI based software: DACx1416. I am seeing that on connecting the power supply signals and the USB2ANY pins on the board I am seeing that the GUI reads the OSC-ALM bit of the Status register as 1 and hence the value of the register comes out to be 0x0008h rather than the default value that is 0000h. I want to know what this error means and whether it is a programming issue or hardware issue and if possible how I can solve it.
My supply voltages are as follows: VDD/VAA = 5V , VSS = GND , VCC= 10V , VIO = 3.3V(USB2ANY)
The jumper pin settings are as follows: J2 , J3 - open , J9 - closed, J10 - 1-2 (VIO= 3.3 from USB2ANY) , J11 - (1-2) , J12 - (1-2)
