DAC38RF80EVM: Verifying DAC/CLK interface without FPGA

Currently, our system has a DAC38RF80EVM and LMX2595EVM interfaced together following the instructions in the DAC EVM. 

We were curious, as we are continuing to write our program on the FPGA that we plan to interface with the DAC and Clock, is it possible to test and verify the the DAC and Clock configuration prior to attaching the FPGA and trying to generate an output on the DAC?

I know the DAC has on-board NCO's and was wondering if those could be programmed to generate an output signal without any input data. Or if you had some other method of verifying the DAC/CLK interface for the time being.
