in evaluating the ADS125H02, if I wanted to add an external REF to the ADC, with a better Temperature drift, initial error, long term drift etc. which would you suggest?
Please share your thoughts if any.

If you look at the ADS125H02 Evaluation module, there is a placeholder for a REF6025 reference, which is not installed. Based on the noise and temperature drift, I think this would be a good reference. Alternately the REF5025 would also likely work well for this application.
In general, I think the noise is one of the most important parameters. There's always a chance to calibrate out a reference error or drift, but noise is something that you can't do much about.
