ADS5562: ADS5562 16bit ADC analog input & ADC convert formula

Part Number: ADS5562

Hi,

We are using ADS5562 with internal reference voltage1.5V,so VCM output 1.5V, but we have confusing about document(SLWS207B-MAY).

Q1, "For a full-scale differential input, each input pin(INP and INM) must swing symmetriacally beween VCM+0.9V and VCM-0.9V, resulting in a 3.6-Vpp differential input swing" from document. My question is, if INP is max VCM +0.9, and INM is min VCM-0.9, so INP-INM = 1.8V, otherwise is if INP is min VCM -0.9, and INM is max VCM+0.9, so INP-INM = -1.8V, and then get Vpp 3.6V?

Q2, Now we use internal reference voltage 1.5V, and it is 16bit ADC, and the chip convert differential analog input into digital. My question is that, how to calculate differential into the digital, such as

-Volt per bit, VPB = 1.5/65536;

-Signal Digital, VPB*(INP-INM).

If (INP-INM)<1.5V, 16bit can index differential signal using above formula. If (INP-INM)>1.5V or (INP-INM)<0 , how to calculate using above formula?

Best Regards,

Kent
