ADS1299: Impendance Measurement, Current flow

Part Number: ADS1299

In the case #2 described in a previous post,

I want to measure the impedance of an electrode by injecting an AC current with only 1 current source.

It basically works.

By doing more tests, I saw that when I remove the reference probe, there is still a square wave measured by my channel 1.

As if the current from the current source on channel 1P was going somewhere.  Channel 2 is not connected.

Any idea where the current flows ?
