Part Number: ASLKPRO
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MIKROELEKTRONIKA

Dear Sir,

In ASLK Pro Manual figure 5.5 there is symbol U1*U1 in Square . (PageNo.36). Same was in Figure 6.1 Function generator it shows U1*U2/10 in Square (Page No 40).

  • Hello Upendra,

    Thank you for your patience.

As many of us were out of office recently from our Applications team on account of Spring holidays, we are catching up on many topics. Either myself or someone from my team will be following up with you by the end of the day US time tomorrow.
  • Hello Upendra,

ALSLKPRO was developed by MikroElektronika  . On the ALSKPRO Product Folder: www.ti.com/tool/ASLKPRO  , click on the Go to MikroElektronika  to submit your request.

    Regards,

    ~Leonard

  • Hi Upendra, I am sure following reply will help you.

On ASLK Pro, the multiplier is MPY634KP which has a reference of 10V. So if you are applying two input signals V1 and V2 to this multiplier the output is V1*V2/10.
In other words Fig. 6.1 is more correct representation than Fig. 5.2 (there is no fig. 5.5 in the manual as written in the question). But this is only w.r.t multiplier MPY634KP from Texas Instruments which is available on ASLK Pro.
If a user is using any other multiplier then reference voltage (Vref) may be different for that multiplier. This point should be kept in mind. So generic expression for output of a multiplier is V1*V2/Vref (V1 and V2 are two input voltages to the multiplier).
    I hope this will help!

    Regards,
    Sagar
