Hi Sir,

Does DAC081C085 need time to do internal initialization when power up? Does the IC accept instruction during initialization time?

How long will it take to do initialization? Can you please provide a timing chart?

    Hi Vito,

    Thank you for your query. The wait time after power-up has not been characterized for this device. However, I have seen that DACs usually take 200us to 500us after all the power supplies are up for the digital function to be ready.

    If you don't have a very strict time constraints at the power-up, please provide a few milliseconds before you start communicating with the DAC.
