ADS8598H: Grounding

Part Number: ADS8598H

Hello,

I am using 8 channels, in parallel mode configuration and operation in the ±5-V input range. I have noticed that this particular ADC doesn't have what is call DGND, I am guessing is because normally is recommended to connect AGND with DGND. I am thinking to use a grounding technique call "Split Ground Planes Connected at System PS", as shown in the attached file, but what concerns me is that the datasheet of this device says "Using a single common ground plane is strongly recommended. For designs requiring a split analog and digital ground planes, the analog and digital ground planes must be at the same potential joined together in close proximity to the devices".

so my question is:
How to use a grounding technique, as the one mentioned, if the data sheet obligates me to connect the analog and digital plane directly?

Thanks in advance
