DAC8563: Can the DAC8563 dual channel output have a single channel similar product?

Part Number: DAC8563
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC80501

Existing products use the DAC8563, dual channel output. Now I want to change the product to a single channel output. Can you recommend a single channel replacement product?

  • Hi,

Thank you for your query. We have a new family of products to replace this. You can use DAC80501M. This is in preview at the moment and will release to market in this quarter.

Please find the datasheet link: www.ti.com/.../dac60501.pdf

Hope that answers your question. Please let us know if there are further questions on this.

  • Thanks for your recommendation. If I need a 2.5-5V output with an internal reference and a buffered DAC, which one is more appropriate.
If there is no output buffered DAC, which one is appropriate.
  • Hi,

The DAC80501 has 2.5 to 5V output with internal reference. It's a buffered R2R DAC with pin-selectable SPI or I2C functionality. It is available in two options: reset with zero-scale and reset with mid-scale.
