Hi,

I'm trying to use ADS1262 evaluation board, but ADCPro software can't properly find a firmware. It shows "No firmware found.... downloading". Software suggests resseting the hardware, but it isn't working.

Welcome to the TI E2E Forums!

Typically this error message is indicative of a missing MMB0 driver. Please try reinstalling the MMB0 driver, by locating the MSI installer located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ADCPro\MMB0 Drivers folder.

Use the mmb0_driver_install_x64-v1.0.0.0.msi ("x64") installer file if you are running a 64-bit operating system.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the answer, but I tried this twice and it doesn't change anything. After about 10 attempts it connects to hardware, but after short time ADCPro stops working, when I'm trying to reconnect to hardware it again can't find firmware.

Hi Hayk,

Are you by chance using Windows 8.1 or 10?

We do have a known driver issue on these operating systems which requires a workaround to get ADCPro to work. Please refer to this E2E post for some additional instructions: e2e.ti.com/.../2885567.

Hi Hayk,

I would recommend trying double checking the MMB0 and ADS1262EVM default jumper connections (in case they were not installed properly). On the ADS1262EVM, it is important that all three JP4 jumper connections are installed; and on the MMB0 it is important that the MMB0 is powered through either the J2 power jack (in which case J12) must be installed) or connected to a bench supply using J14 and having jumper J13B installed.

Once these connections are made, try checking Windows Device Manger to see if the MMB0 is enumerating correctly, as shown below:
