TSW1400EVM



Hi,

We are using the TWS1400EVM with the ADC5484EVM. 

Every time we connect the TSW1400EVM, we have to download the firmware and the data captured gets inadequate every time we press capture in the HSDC Pro software.

What do you recommend to solve this problem? We have read to the user guides and we have found nothing on this issue.

    Can you please explain what you mean by inadequate? Are you able to get a capture, but the spectrum is not clean? or are you even able to get a capture? It would be best for you to provide a snapshot of the issue you are seeing.

    Also, make sure your power supply is set to 5V and that current limit is at least 4A. Please provide details on the configuration details such as clock rate, input frequency, etc.

    I am in the same group project with Francisco.

    This is our problem, when I use the  20M clock 2Vpp, Input 50kHz 2Vpp, I got the problems of 2 cases:

    • If we can capture only once, we have to re-download firmware.(percent successful for redownload it is < 50%) (picture of capture above ENOB 7.46bits). Then we can not get the other capture. we have to redownload again.
    • If we can capture more than once, the ENOB bits keep decrease every time we capture from ~8 until it get down to less than 1 as shown.

    Above are the screen captures of the output. I also try with the clock of fixed 200MHz. But the problems are the same. 

    All the power for TSW1400EVM and ADC5484EVM meet the requirement.
