DAC5672: analog output frequency

Hi, i would like to know;
1)what is the maximum analog output frequency of this DAC(DAC5672) ?
2)Is a certain analog output frequency, the frequency of the generated signal?
3)Is it possible to vary the output frequency with a fpga if i have a fixed clock source for the this dac?

Hi Fidel,

The max sampling frequency(Fs) for this DAC is 275MSPS. So if you are clocking the DAC at 275MSPS the max analog output signal frequency the DAC can output is Fs/2 => 275/2 => 137.5 MHz.

Yes you can vary the output frequency from 0 to Fs/2 with FPGA with using the fixed clock source for this DAC.

Thanks. I will try to figure out with fpga how i can vary the frequency. I dont have other question.
