ADS1293EVM: ADS1293EVM spi and data acquisition problem

Part Number: ADS1293EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1293

Hello,

I would like to ask you about a problem with ADS1293EVM. I was trying to interface ADS1293 with Arduino Uno through SPI. Due to this, I removed resistors R25, R26, R28 to disable MSP430 according to TI recommendation. The board was supplied by USB with JP2 and JP3 connected. Firstly, there were some data for a while but now, there is a zero flat line with no reactions. I tried to confirm that the board is still working in ADS software and the board was connected but there is an error. I tried to recover the board as well but it still does not work. It seems like the board is not acquiring any data.

Do you have any experience about how to deal with this situation? Could it be because of the resistors? I would be grateful for any advice.

Thank you,

Daniel

  • Hello Daniel,

Did you return all components on the EVM back to their original state?

As I've said previously, we cannot provide much support when it comes to making customizations to our EVM software or hardware. My recommendation would be to probe the critical pins around the device and see if everything is still within their nominal values: VDD, VSS, CVREF, VDDIO, DRDYB, etc.

    Best regards,
