DAC8775: Are configuration settings saved

Part Number: DAC8775

Hello I would like to know if I configure the channels like the following:

Channel A - current, 4-20mA

Channel B- voltage, 0-10V

Channel C- current, 4-20mA

Channel D-voltage, 0-10V

If I perform a power cycle will it come up as the setting I provided or will it come up in factory setting?

Hi Tristan,

The DAC8775 does not have any non-volatile memory. If you issue a POR, or power cycle the device, it will revert to factory defaults.

Thanks Paul. I also if I perform a power cycle all voltage and current out will be disabled and place in a HI impedance state?

Tristan,

All of the register contents will be restored to their default values, which means that the DC/DC will be disabled, the IOUT will be high impedance, and the VOUT will be 30kOhms to GND.
