If ADS8689 is held in reset, what will the current consumption be?
Would it be similar current consumption compared to the PD Mode?

Hi Josh%20Mandich,
I will check with design/test team to see if they have this kind of data, it will take some time, thanks.
Best regards,
Dale
Hi Josh%20Mandich,
ADS8689 has two RESET modes (application and Power On Reset), if your are talking about Power On Reset, the answer is yes, the current consumption will be same as power down mode.
Thank you for choosing TI precision ADC.
Best regards,
Dale
Thanks, I am hoping you can provide info on the application reset current consumption vs. power down mode.
Hi Josh%20Mandich,
The application rest on ADS8689 only resets all configuration registers reset to their default values, the RVS pins remain low and the SDO-x pins are tri-stated. Hence, the power consumption under the application reset is same as normal working condition as the specifications on page 9 of data sheet.
Thanks&Regards,
Dale
