the ads1298r has built in onchip filters.  kindly confirm if these filters can  remove noise filters while acquiring the ecg signals.  or do we have to develop filters for removing noise.

    Hi Jagannathan,

    The ADS1298R has built in digital filters that have a response based on input signal frequency and sampling rate as depicted in the datasheet. These filters remove noise outside of the band while sampling the input signal. We do recommend using an anti-aliasing RC filter on the input and additional filtering may be necessary depending on the particular application. These decisions are ultimately up to the system design engineer.
