DAC0832: P2P replacement for DAC0832

Hi Sir,

DAC0832 will be discontinued by 2020. which one would be used as a  P2P replacement for it. the page with DAC0832 suggests DAC081S101,but it is not P2P.

Would you pls give some recommendation on it.

    Hi Sara,

    Thank you for your query. We don't have a P2P device for DAC0832 as it has a parallel interface and the new generation DACs are mainly supported with I2C and SPI interfaces. This is a trend to support smaller pin count and small size.

    A device with a 20-pin package for a single channel is highly undesirable for most of our customer and hence, it becomes very challenging to create a P2P replacement for these parts.

    Apologies for not being able to provide the best resolution to the issue.
