DAC7664: power-on sequence

Part Number: DAC7664

Hi TI team,

DAC7664 has four types of power supply pins: VDD, VSS, IOVDD and VCC. However, datasheet does not mention the requirement of power-on sequence. Is there no power-on sequence requirement for the chip? Please let me know. Thank you.

I do not have any recorded instances of anything that would suggest that a power-supply sequence is required and undocumented by the datasheet, so in this case I believe there is indeed no requirement.

Hi Amy,

In general, we recommend that the digital supply is supplied first. So in this case, I would recommend that VDD and IOVDD ramp first (in no particular order), then VCC and VSS are applied at about the same time.
