Dear experts,

our customer used ADS1291 pass the FDA certification，

there are some questions:

S1 closed it's ok， S1 open the ECG signal frequency*10，

if you have some suggestion？

Thanks for your post.

This test is designed to validate the Recorder system input impedance. I believe the passing requirement is less than 5% signal loss when S1 is open. The results you are seeing ("ECG signal frequency*10") is likely just noise, but it's difficult to say for sure without seeing a scope capture of the ADC input or output data.
