Linux/DAC81416EVM: wiringSPI example program for raspberry

I do not believe we have any examples for the Raspberry PI platform, not do we have any RPI experts on the team.  O would suggest reviewing the psuedo code examples provided in section 10.2.2 of the product datasheet.  Combining the steps outlined in that section with an SPI example for that platform should be relatively straight forward.

Let us know if you have specific questions about the SPI configuration.

Actually, I would like to perform a simple test by querying the IF of the device (offset 01h).

Could you indicate me the steps to do it (It is not clear how to perform a read operation from the doc: it  tells to enable the SDO_EN bit first but is seems that  in SPICONFIG registers it is activated by default ?).

I have also a question about SPI configuration.

It is not clear to me which modalities should be setup for SPI communication and data model (clock polariy and phase), clock speed, data bit order ?
