AFE5809EVM: Low frequency operation

Part Number: AFE5809EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE5809

Hi TI,

We have recently started preparing the evaluation modules (AFE5809evm + TSW1400evm) for the corresponding test. It is important to emphasize that we will perform tests with frequencies of 40 KHz, in order to digitize these echoes, reviewing and reading carefully the document (SONAR Receiver Path Sub-System Reference Design Using the AFE5809), more specifically point 5.3 of the document, We found that 3 steps are required.

The doubts were especially in point 2 and 3 of these steps, more specifically in point 2 where it is required to disable the PGA integrator through REG 51 [4] = '1', this configuration would be done through SPI? , because I also understand that if the SPI is used, the USB mode must be disabled and you wouldn't be able to use the GUI.

We agree that point 3 is directly in the GUI your configuration. I'm right?

Finally, several values of capacitors and a resistance are mentioned, in order not to have problems, your answer is very important, should these values be changed in the module? the capacitors to be replaced (C_INPx, C_INMx, C_ACTx) as well as the resistance of 50 Ohms must be added (R77, R65, R66, R67, R68, R69, R70, R79), I am right?

And finally add the image of 5.3 in order to be more practical.

I would appreciate your help, since we must have enough security and knowledge so as not to damage our modules.
