ADS131A04: Can we used ADS131A04 for ECG signal sample?

   Customer will design ECG product , ADS1298/94 is too expensive, Can we used ADS131A04 for ECG signal sample? Can you give advice? thanks！

    Hello,

    The ADS131A04 is not a good option as it has relatively low input impedance - only 130 kOhm typically. ECG require a much higher input impedance (i.e. > 10M), so you'll want to find a similar device to ADS1298 with high-impedance input amplifiers.

    Have you considered other devices in the ADS1x9x family of bio-potential ADCs? We offer other devices with lower channel counts and lower resolution, which will cost significantly less than the ADS1298. Please refer to the portfolio overview in the ADS129x FAQ page linked below.
