Hi. I am looking to use this part, AMC1303M2510 in an avionics application. Is it available in military grade or enhanced product? It would be really helpful if i can get the complete part number.

Hi Steph,

Welcome to our e2e Forum! We do not currently offer the AMC1303 in a military or EP option. We do have an automotive (Q1) version of the AMC1305 that might be an option. The AMC1305M25-Q1 is similar to the AMC1303, it has the same input voltage range but requires an external clock.

Tom,

I don't think an automotive part will meet FAA or military avionics quality requirements. The hardware must operate -65 C and the automotive part is rated to only -40 C for ambient operating conditions.

Any other suggestions?

Can TI certify a lot to MIL-STD-810 Method 500.5 Low Pressure (altitude), Method 513.6 Acceleration, Method 514.6 vibration and method 516.6 shock
or RTCA/DO-160 ?

Hi Tom,

I think the time frame is 6 months to a year. We expect to be ready for a first article then. Our usage is small - under 50 to 100 units.

It might be less costly if we buy a small lot and outsource the testing. What would you recommend?
