DAC8811: Register values when CS goes high during writing data through Din pin

Part Number: DAC8811

Hi team,

Could you give me comments on following customer question?

<Question>

What will happen the analog output(Iout) and the register value(Data Input Register) when CS goes high during writing data through Din pin? As far as they read the datasheet, they think the analog output and register values will keep previous value. Is it correct understanding?

Best regards,

Takeshi Sasaki

  • Hi Takeshi-san,

    As per Figure 25 in the datasheet, this will be considered as a /CS interrupt and the frame will be discarded. So, the previously written value will be retained.

    Hope that answers your question.
