I intend to use the AC Excitation feature on the ADS1261. I've read the short procedural description in the data sheet. My question is, after the register setup, will the excitation switching happen automatically after the conversion has started? Does anyone have a code example that they could send me? Thank you.
Hi Dennis,
If you enable one of the AC-excitation modes on the ADS1261, it will automatically switch the GPIO signals (assuming you've enabled them) and then provide the averaged conversion result from measuring the bridge in two different polarities.
