TX7316: Initialization Sequence in On-chip Beamforming mode

Part Number: TX7316

Hello,

My customer has a question about Initialization Sequence in On-chip Beamforming mode in TX7316.

[Background]

* The initialization sequence in On-chip Beamforming mode is described in D/S (SLOS950B) P.120 to 121.

The step 5.1 is described as follows.

"Write 0 to address 20h to 2Fh. It will set the delay value for all the channels to 0."

* On the other hand, the note in 8.3.5.1.3 (Read and Write of Delay and Pattern Profile, D/S P.56) is written as follows.

"After programming delay and pattern profile set register bit LOAD_PROF to '1'. Register bit LOAD_PROF is a self-clearing bit."

[Q]

Is it necessary to set "LOAD_PROF=1" after "Write 0 to address 20h to 2Fh" in initialization sequence in On-chip Beamforming mode ?

Best Regards,

Hiroshi Katsunaga
