ADC128D818: Interrupt Mask Register

Part Number: ADC128D818

On section 8.6.4 of the datasheet for the ADC128D818, what does this mean?

Default Value [7:0] = 0000_0000 binary

Does this mean that upon default, NONE of the interrupts of ANY of the channels will propagate to the /INT pin?

 Or is it the opposite?

  • Jason,

Section 8.6.4 describes the interrupt mask register. Any 1 in the register masks the corresponding interrupt status from propagating to the interrupt output pin.

With the default value of 00h, none of the channel interrupts are masked (and the interrupts propagate to the /INT pin).
