ADS1271EVM: quick question about 1271B

Part Number: ADS1271EVM

Hello,

Quick question.  Can this Evaluation Board be used with the 1271B product and formated for modulation output?  Can it be ordered with this product on the board instead of the 1271 version?

    Hi Lisa,

    Welcome to TI's E2E Community.

    Yes, you can use the ADS1271EVM board with the ADS1271B.  However, the MMB0 board and GUI software will not work with modulator mode.  You will need to connect the EVM to your own host MCU.

    TI only sells the EVM with the non-B version of the ADS1271.  The device is in a TSSOP package, and can be changed with standard lab tools.  You can order free ADS1271B samples from the TI eStore.
