How to obtain a more stable video from TVP5158 ?

I've never seen an issue like this before.

In general, the automatic level control (ALC), automatic gain control (AGC) and automatic color control (ACC) of the TVP5158 are quite stable.

Please provide your schematics for review.

Also, please provide a register dump of your TVP5158 I2C settings.

It seems to depend on camera model instead of AGC setting.

Other camera model won't show this situation.

2 things to try...

1) disable all automatic controls in the TVP5158

2) connect the bad camera directly to a monitor/tv to see if it exhibits the same issue.

What was the result of disabling the TVP5158 AGC? Did it still show the problem?

If you disabled all the TVP5158 automatic controls (auto level, auto gain, auto contrast etc...) and you still have the issue then it is most likely the camera itself which is executing its own auto functions.
