FMC-ADC-ADAPTER: Connecting the ADS52J90EVM to a Xilinx EVM

Part Number: FMC-ADC-ADAPTER
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS52J90EVM, ADS52J90, , AFE58JD18

Hi,

I'm working on a motor control project where we need to simultaneously sample 36 current measurement channels plus an additional couple of measurements.

For that reason we are considering to use the ADS52J90EVM in a test setup with a reduced amount of channels and then scale up the system by synchronizing measurements from two ADS52J90.

Anyways, we would need to funnel the raw data to a XIlinx ZYNC702 EVM. Th FPGA EVM comes with an FMC connector. I noticed that there is a FMC-ADC-ADAPTER, which sounds like the thing we need but after a closer look at the schematics, the adapter doesn't seem to be compatible with the ADS52J90EVM (clock sync signals on pins 105, 107 whereas the adapter communicates over SPI on pins 111,113,115,117,119).

Do you have a similar FMC adapter-board for the mentioned ADC or a suggestion on how to interface to the Xilinx EVM?

Thanks for your advice.

Kind regards,

Gustaf
