I am designing a three phase grid connected inverter by studying the TIDA-01606 reference design.

In yor design, you use a hall effect current transducer to sense the inverter side inductor current. I find using a closed loop hall effect current sensor very expensive.

1) Is it possible to use a one of your sigma delta modulators for sensing the inverter side inductor current in place of the hall effect current transducer?

2) Since the switching frequency is 50kHz, will the use of a sigma delta modulator provide satisfactory accuracy when sensing the inductor current at such a high switching frequency?
