Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1294
I am considering ADS1194.
It does not use WCT, GCT, RLD, PACE, or GPIO.
[Power Supply AVDD: + 1.5(V), AVSS: –1.5(V), DVDD: +3.3(V)]
[External References: VREFN = AVSS, VREFP-VREFN = + 2.5 (V)]
I have the following questions.
<Question>
(1) I recognize it as a 16 bits edition of ADS1294.
Although, the notation is different between the single-ended input range of ADS1194 (Fig.17, Fig.18)
and the single-ended input range of ADS1294 (Fig.27, Fig.28).
(Is ADS1194 different from ADS1294?)
Is the figure correct?
(2) DVDD of ADS1194 is by default +1.8(V), do you not have any problem even if you use it in +3.3(V)?
Is there any significant deviation in electrical characteristics?
(3) In the case of AINN=DVDD=0(V), Gain=1, will VREF, input-signal VIN, Full-Scale-Range, VIN range, ADC-Code be as follows?
・VREF=VREFP-VREFN=+2.5(V)
・VIN=AINP-AINN=AINP
・Full-Scale-Range=5(V)
・VIN range: -2.5(V) ~ +2.5(V)
・ADC-Code
(VIN : ADC-Code)
> +2.5(V) : 7FFF
+2.5/32767(V) : 0001
0(V) : 0000
-2.5/32767(V) : FFFF
<-2.5/(32768/32767)(V) : 8000
