ADS1292: ECG waveform oscillation

Part Number: ADS1292

Dear TI experts,

We have a problem when testing the ADS1292: we set the device to test the ECG for 1 minute. Thirty seconds before the test, the waveform was normal and the heart rate was normal. The waveform started to be abnormal just after the 30th second, and there was a constant frequency oscillation.
Need to solve this problem quickly, because Customer certification is nearing completion.

Please help, Thank you.

Thanks,

Hu

  • Hello Hu,

Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum!

Can you provide a schematic and register settings used for the test?

Do you think it's possible for the electrode impedance to be increasing, causing more 50-Hz noise to couple into the system as differential noise? Try replacing the ECG input with a signal generator referenced to the circuit board ground and see if data is reliable for 1 minute.

    Best regards,
