Hello

I purchased an ADS1X9XECG-FE demo KIT

This fails to test IEC 60601-2-47.

So I compared the EVK schematic and the demo KIT, but data is different

Demo KIT schematic is

R16 : DNI

R85 : 51K

But demo KIT EVK is

R16 : Mount

R85 : DNI

Please explain the changed part.

And please guide me regarding IEC60601-2-47.

    Hi Danny,

    Thank you for your post.

    The only difference appears to be a BOM variant. It looks like the 'R' version of the ADS1292R installs the components required for Channel 1 = Respiration (using Lead I) and Channel 2 = ECG Lead I. For the non-R version (ADS1292), you could modify the components to measure Channel 1 = ECG Lead I and Channel 2 = ECG Lead II.

    The IEC standards are system-level requirements that must be satisfied by properly designing the supporting circuitry around our ADC. We do not claim to meet these IEC standards on the device evaluation boards.

    Is there anything else that has changed except for this one?

    And you said the front end of the ADC should be designed according to IEC

    Do you have any data for reference?
