DDC264EVM: Resistors at DDC264EVM Input

I have a question about DDC264EVM. I've put a Silicon photodiode at Vin input and looking the output on the DDC264 Evaluation software. my question is that when we are using SiPD what's the effect of Resistors at the input and why they are used in the circuit? because in another question I asked about DDC264 and DDC232, your experts said that DDC have sufficient protection and don't need extra.

Sorry Mojtaba, I am not sure I follow the question... What resistors are you talking about? And not sure about what post you refer, so, can't really confirm that we have sufficient protection for whatever you were describing on that post.

Oh I see! The large ones (10MOhms)... Those resistors are for you to create a current by just applying a voltage on the other side. You need current inputs as the DDC measures current... You do not use those resistors when you connect your sensor. The sensor connects directly to the DDC inputs (i.e., instead of the Analog Input Board)
