DDC264EVM: Reaching 6kSPS

Part Number: DDC264EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DDC264

Hi,

While using the DDC264EVM I can't reach the advertised 6kSPS : the device seems to be skipping one value out of every two values. FOr example, I am seeing a 60Hz interference when integrating (which is normal as my shielding is not perfect) for 320us but a 120Hz interference when integrating for 160us. Also, when reading only one channel for 65536 samples (I assume the integrate and read time are then significantly longer than the USB transfert), it takes close to 42 seconds for either a 160us or 320us integration period. I am using the fastest DCLK (40MHz) which should be fast enough for one channel, 20bits, 160us.

Is it a limitation of the evaluation module (hardware, programming) or is it a limitation of the DDC264 itself ?

Best regards,
