Hi Team,
my customer is using ADS122C04 as solution , and they are asking does this device needed the driver?
Per my understand , our ADS122C04 is no needed for extra driver , so customer can configure ADC through I2C interface with the microcontroller.
the other question is that , do we have the microcontroller's sample code for customer reference?
Andy
Hi Andy,
great to hear from you.
You are correct, the ADS122C04 is configured through the I2C interface with a microcontroller. The SEM team has developed some example code for ADS122C04 in the 'High Precision Temperature Measurement for Heat and Cold Meters Reference Design' ().
There should be a ADS122x04.c and ADS122x04.h file included in the 'Heat_Meter_Sub-System_TIDA-01526' ZIP file somewhere which you can find on the TI Design page. If you need help finding it we should contact the responsible persons in the SEM team.
Regards,
Andy,
the MCU driver is not required, the ADS122C04 settings in TIDA-01526 followed this TechNote:
You are right, customers can configure the device over I2C as needed for their application.
Regards,
Milen
Hi Joachim,
it's great to reach out to you again!
thanks for the quick verify my question , regrading the reference code , since my customer is doing lighting application ,
so TIDA-01526 's reference code might not fit for my customer in this case.
But I'll noted that we have this material if other's project doing for relating application.
Andy
Hi Milen,
Nice to hear from you!
thanks for the check, and noted that TIDA-01526 have the ref code for ADS122C04 temperature sensing.
Andy
