Hai,

we developed a novel LED and Photodiode,now we just want to impliment it ina heart beat monitoring system to obtain PPG signal.can you guide me ,how should i connect AFE4400 board separetly eith a Msp430,means i dont want to use AFE4400SPO2EVM - Evaluation board for Integrated Analog Front End,but i want to use separete AFE4400 IC and MSP430 IC.So please tell me how can i connect these thing practically and how can i collect the output?is it possible to check the out put of AFE4400 in any oscilloscope or in my pc using any softwere.

    Hello Merbin,

    You can follow any of these steps.

    1)   You can design a custom sensor board with AFE4400+ MCU + custom GUI with your LED and PD

    2) Make a sensor board with your LED and PD compatible with AFE4400EVM and use AFE4400 EVM with TI provided GUI and Firmware.
