Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM7705, LM27762
Hello
I'm working on a schematic with ADS1158.
However, ADS1158 uses -2.5V as REFN, AVSS.
Please let me know how I can make -2.5V.
Should I use the LMC7600?
Thank you

Hi Danny,
The 5V analog supply for the ADS1158 can be from a bipolar +/-2.5V source, but it can also tolerate a unipolar 5V supply (AVDD =5V, AVSS = GND) if that is easier to implement in your design. However, if your input amplifier needs to be able to drive down to 0V, then some kind of negative supply will be required (at least for the amplifier).
The LMC7600 could probably work, but you might also consider the LM27762 (which can generate both +/ 2.5V supplies and integrates LDOs to reduce the supply noise), or if you only need a negative supply for the amplifier you could use something like the LM7705 to generate the negative supply rail for the amplifier.
Hi Christopher
Thank you for introducing IC
I will try the LM27762
Thank you
