ADS1293: ADS1293 can monitor fetal heart rate?

Hi,

I am doing a research project on analysing ECG signals from pregnant women. Would like to know whether the ADS1293 can be used to monitor fetal heart rate? If so, after which gestational weeks it can be used? 

Do you have any reference designs for this purpose?

    Hi Ashok,

    The ADS1293 is used in many ECG systems, including fetal heart rate systems. You may want to consider a lower noise ADC such as the ADS1299-4 since the signals for fetal heart rate monitoring can be very small. 

    I cannot provide any further expertise in terms of gestational weeks. If you have specific questions about the devices I will be happy to answer.
