Can you provide detail on the type of video procesing frunctionality you need, including the types of video inputs and outputs that need to be supported?

input : any digital video format from digital media such as cd, dvd, sd, flash, ...
process : major area of digital video into custom sub-divided part (video cropping), and several other useful processing.
output : 24bit digital RGB format as parallel port.

You may want to look at some of the DM video processors such as the DM6467. These parts are used with anlog front-ends such as the TVP7002 (HD component and graphics support) an TVP5146/7 video decoders (SDTV and composite video support). HDMI can also be supported. EVM schematics should be available in the product folders on the TI website.
