ADS1256: Input Buffer Long Term Drift

Part Number: ADS1256
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA388, ADS1261, ADS1260

Hi there,

I am interested in finding the long term drift of the input buffer for the ADS1256. I am looking for a spec that quotes the voltage drift of the buffer over time such as the image below.

This example is from the OPA388 OP-Amp

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

  • Hi Zane,

We do not have long-term offset drift data for the ADS1256 unfortunately.

If you are open to different ADCs, the ADS1260 (3x differential inputs) or ADS1261 (5x differential inputs) does provide long-term drift data for offset voltage. See the screenshot from the ADS1260's datasheet below. The ADS126x products are the newest generation of factory automation ADCs, so I would recommend taking a look at these devices if your system allows.
