TSW14J56EVM: A question about the firmware

Dear all,

Hi.

I have a question regarding TSW14J56EVM fpga firmware available from here:

http://www.ti.com/tool/TSW14J56EVM

Right now I'm using the HSDC Pro software and it's working great. (ADC34J45EVM with TSW14J56EVM)

Now, I would like to make some changes to the firmware in Quartus. I'm aware that after deploying modified firmware I will not be able to use HSDC software anymore.

My question is:

if something goes wrong and I decide to go back, can I re-deploy the default TSW14J56EVM fpga firmware from the above link and be able to use HSDC software like before?

    Fernando,

    Yes, you can always redownload the original firmware using HSDC Pro. If this issue occurs, I would suggest cycling the board power then close and reopen open HSDC Pro GUI and download the firmware.
