Compressed sensing using ADC

I need to record the partial discharge signal occurring in the dielectric which has the frequencies in terms of Giga-Hertz , Is there any ADC model available on which i can implement the compressed sensing concept in order to capture the signal at a low sampling rate. If available how can i apply and what tool does it required to apply the compressed sensing?

  • It sounds like you want to capture a high frequency signal by under-sampling it with a low sampling rate ADC. You need a converter with high enough input bandwidth to meet the desired signal frequency.  If the signal BW is indeed small, then you can operate at a low sampling rate.  I recommend that you look at the parametric tables on ti.com for high speed data converters.  You can specify desired analog input bandwidth, resolution, and number of channels to narrow down the options.  For example, the ADC12D500 has a 2.7 GHz bandwidth and samples at 500 MHz (or less).
