Hi,

Are there any settings in the ADC which would allow the use of the internal voltage reference while there is an external voltage reference connected as well? How would I go about doing that?

    Adam,

    In order to use both the internal and external voltage reference, I think you would need some sort of external switch to disconnect the external reference. A diagram of the reference connections is given in the datasheet in Figure 28.

    With those connections, any external reference would need to be disconnected before using the internal reference.
