TPL0401A-10: default value of the wiper after reset

yes, the device is response correctly, after i read the 0x7F i write 0x1D to the register an i read it a gain. so it works, but the first time i read after POR is always 0x7F. see scrren shot below.

Can you tell me after device power up, how much time delay you are giving before i2c communication? It has to be min 120uS.

Can you send me scope shots of the same power up to SDA going low?

VDD is set to 5v longest time before i assigning SDA line. see below picture.

Did you measure VDD?And what happens after you read second time before writing?

Any other I2C device is connected to this interface?

yes i measured VDD, you can see in above picture. There is no other device on the I2C interface. Also i am always reading before writing, after the first time i read alwasy the value that was written, see above picture.

Hi,

Unfortunately after discussing with experts and verifying on the EVM , this device has an issue with read after power on reset. Thats the reason you are facing this. Its bug in the device I presume, rest assured, it has got nothing to do with device performance after first read.
