What is the max output current and impedance of the sensor output. I've had a couple of board with output set to approx. 5V. Is there any reason they could be damaged or there is something in the part configuration?

Hi Batkowski,
Since this parameter which is not characterized, I need to check with my design team for the info.
please wait for one day, I will revert back to you with the information.

Hi Batkowski,
Temp sensor output is not meant to be loaded, it has only capability of 100uA . Regarding output impedance, there is a mux in the path which will dictate the dc o/p impedance. The dc impedance has a variation of 420 ohms to 610 ohms. Typically it would be around 500 ohms.
Hope this clarifies.

Hi Akhilesh
I have one more question. You mentioned there's a mux in the path. Is there any possibility of controlling the mux? I have two boards with the sensor output at 5V (output floating no load). So either they are damaged or somehow disconnected.

Jacek
Hi,
That mux is internal to device, user dont have choice to control the same. at room temp you should have 1.2- 1.3V at that pin and DAC outputs are at no load.
