ADS7953EVM-PDK: Can ADS7953EVM-PDK supply REF+ and REF-?

Hi Experts,

We want to connect IC socket board for ADS7951 with ADS7953EVM-PDK to evaluate and run ADCPRO. For that purpose, we want to supply POWER/GND and REF from ADS7954EVM-PDK. Since I could not find the schematics of ADS7953EVM-PDK, we want to know the below pin can be used for REF of ADS7951.

Could you please confirm it?

Hi Uchikoshi-san,

The schematic for the ADS7953EVM-PDK is in the Users Guide on page 27. Pins 18 and 20 of P1 connect to REFN and REFP respectively.

Hi Tom-san,

I think page 27 shows ADS7953EVM( Daughter card ) only. I want to know ADS7953EVM-PDK (Mother board). The signal REF+ and REF- are coming from ADS7953EVM-PDK but there is no information what REF+ and REF- are.

Uchikoshi-san,

They are 'user supplied' inputs. No reference voltage is provided by the host controller PCB.
